:The reason this is, is because there is no way to scale it down to 0 dex. You can't say: at 34 dex you will have a total bonus of -80 because we don't know how much AC bonus you receive if you are at 1 dex, 2 dex, all the way up to 17 dex. The only way to represent AC bonuses is by using a recusrive method. --[[User:MooNFisH|Llanor]] 18:53, 25 October 2009 (UTC) | :The reason this is, is because there is no way to scale it down to 0 dex. Revision as of 08:22, 26 October 2009
I've undone the last couple of updates to this page, as I'm fairly confident that there was a mistake in the information added. Dexterity does NOT add a base -10 to your AC regardless of what your dex is. At different degrees of dex the bonus improves - though at exactly what levels it changes, I do not know. --Shadowtop 18:35, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
- You are misinterpreting the numbers in the table. The AC bonus you receive for having 22 dex, in addition to what you already had when you were at 21 dex, is -10. The table has always been like that though I see there is no mention of this on the page. I'll add that bit of information.
- The reason this is, is because there is no way to scale it down to 0 dex. You can't say: at 34 dex you will have a total bonus of -80 because we don't know how much AC bonus you receive if you are at 1 dex, 2 dex, all the way up to 17 dex. The only way to represent AC bonuses is by using a recusrive method. --Llanor 18:53, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
- Gotcha! Cumulative... Sorry for being dense. --Shadowtop 13:22, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
