Smith is the command to instruct a smith shopkeeper to repair a damaged item for you. To find out the cost required to fix your item, use APPRAISE. Like shops, you can haggle the price as well as have different costs for different Smiths. If you don't have enough gold, the Smith will repair your item with whatever amount of gold you DO have to a certain extent.
Syntax: smith <object>.
