The first step along the road to becoming a lethal Assassin is to master the simple art of the sneak attack. Using the element of surprise, a thief will be able to hit his foe harder in the first round of combat. Any weapon can be used for this attack, however, it will be less effective on enemies who are especially alert, such as aggressive or wimpy monsters and guards. Surprise attack is affected by your race's innate stealthiness. Large or clumsy races may be spotted moving in for the kill.

Prerequisite(s): Sneak.

Syntax: surprise <mob>.
