 Shard realms come and go at the whim and will of the gods. As they are
 ephemeral, and items removed from them are also ephemeral in nature. Use
 them while you have them for they might not be around for long. Storing
 them in lockers will not circumvent this nature.

Unlocks

Today, Shard Areas require an Unlock process.

This involves Essence Lighting, which involves the elemental planes.

Once the essences are lit, visit the room next to the pool above thorn: recall, 2u, w.

There, you will learn of the unlocks you need to perform which unlocks the Shard Area that is available for the current Reset.
