Often confused for a parlor trick or a basic mage's conjuring trick, the use of psionics to levitate is unique in that it actually creates a telekinetic pull to separate the target from the ground by a few feet. Flying bestows several advantages, such as reduced movement costs, and it makes it easy to traverse airborne or watery areas. Since this is a TELEKINETIC spell, it can easily be cast on others.

Prerequisite(s): none.

Syntax: cast 'levitation' <character>.

Psionicists may find this spell rather useful at lowmort tier but usually cast Fly instead of it at hero tier. This spell is superfluous for characters affected by Fly. See Flying Flag for further information.
